The inaugural session of EULIPHETalks, a dynamic new webinar series on livestock phenomics, was held with great success, attracting over 120 participants from diverse fields. Organized by the EU-LI-PHE COST Action and its Young Researchers and Innovators (YRI) Committee, this interactive event provided a platform for education, discussion, and networking among professionals, researchers, and young career scientists.

The webinar began with a comprehensive introduction to phenomics by Luca Fontanesi, Chair of EU-LI-PHE, followed by an engaging talk on “Phenotyping Technologies Used in Livestock Species” by Dr. Tomas Klingström (SLU, Sweden). The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration.

This strong kickoff marks the start of an educational journey, with EULIPHETalks set to explore various aspects of livestock phenomics in upcoming episodes. The success of this event underscores the value of sharing knowledge and fostering innovation in the scientific community.
