The first Türkiye session of EU-LI-PHETalks, “Genomic Breeding in Türkiye – Sectoral and Farm Perspectives”, was held online on 28 September 2026.

The session brought together perspectives from research and policy, the breeders’ association and farm-level practice. İrfan Daşkıran (TAGEM, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry), Müslüm Doğru (TÜSEDAD) and Sinan Kolat (Rumeli Livestock Farm) discussed genomic breeding in Türkiye from their respective professional perspectives.

The full recording of the session is now available on the EU-LI-PHE YouTube channel for those who were unable to attend live or would like to revisit the discussion.
