New Postdoc Position in Animal Genetics Available

Aarhus University’s Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics (QGG) is inviting applications for a two-year postdoctoral position in genetic modelling and validation of novel livestock phenotypes and phenotyping tools.

The successful candidate will focus on developing computational tools and statistical approaches to analyze sensor-based phenotype data across species such as cattle, pigs, insects, and fish. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with industry partners and researchers to enhance livestock breeding strategies and improve phenotyping methodologies.

Position start date: 1st June 1 2025

Workplace description: The position is based at QGG, located on-site in Aarhus, Denmark. QGG is an interdisciplinary center with over 70 employees and visiting researchers from more than 20 countries, conducting both basic and applied research in quantitative genetics and genomics.
