We are proud to announce a major milestone: our 400th member has joined the network! We warmly welcome Dr. Marinela Enculescu, a researcher in animal nutrition and physiology from the Research and Development Institute for Bovine Balotesti, Romania.

Dr. Enculescu has over 18 years of experience in animal science, focusing on ruminant feeding strategies, metabolic profiling, and methane emission reduction. Her research aims to link animal nutrition with health, productivity, and sustainability in the dairy sector.

She discovered EU-LI-PHE through a colleague involved as an MC Member for Romania. She is eager to engage with Working Groups 1, 4, and 5, particularly in exploring phenomics applications in animal nutrition.

“I look forward to exchanging knowledge with peers and learning about new phenomics approaches applied to animal nutrition,” says Dr. Enculescu.

With 400 members, EU-LI-PHE continues to grow as a key network in livestock phenomics. Each new member strengthens our collective expertise and fosters new collaborations. If you are interested in joining, explore our website and visit our social media profiles to learn more.
