Postdoctoral Opportunity – Behavioural and Genetic Data Analysis in Poultry

The Center for Proper Housing of Poultry and Rabbits (ZTHZ), a collaboration between the University of Bern and the Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office, is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to explore behavioural patterns in laying hens using high-throughput tracking and genetic data.

The position (80%, 30 months) includes collaboration with the EU-LI-PHE network and development of a cutting-edge data platform. Applicants should have expertise in bioinformatics, behavioural science, and data analysis. The position starts in October/November 2025, while applications can be sent before 1st July 2025.
