Reader/Research Group Leader at the Roslin Institute University of Edinburgh (UK). Her research focuses on understanding tissue specific gene expression and regulation in ruminants and providing high resolution functional annotation information for farmed animal genomes to link genotype to phenotype. Emily Clark is co-coordinator of the Horizon Europe EuroFAANG research infrastructure project, a contributing member to work packages 2 and 4 of the BovReg H2020 project, steering committee member for the global FAANG consortium, leader of the small ruminants programme within the Centre for Tropical Livestock Genetics and Health, and contributing member of the USDA NIFA funded Ovine FAANG and sheep pangenome projects. She was also a management committee member for the FAANG Europe COST Action.
