Despoina Karatosidi - PhD, in Animal Sciences with specialization in Livestock science, fish and wildlife and MSc Agronomist. She is a researcher at the Research Institute of Animal Sciense of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization DIMITRA, in Animals Nutrition and Quality of Animal Products. She is technical staff of Panhellenic Association of Autochthonous Breeds “PEEAFAZ”, technical advisor at the Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative of Tyrnavos (Thessaly, Greece) and member of the Greek Network of Transhumant Farmers (NTF). Dr. Karatosidi develops research activities on livestock production management systems and their effect on milk and meat production and product quality, sustainable production systems, farm animal nutrition, effects of nutrition on animal physiology and reproduction, utilization of different products and by-products of rural industry in animal nutrition and on the exploitation and rational management of forages and pastures.
